The Henry’s Fork has always been more than a river. It’s a shared place, a shared responsibility, and a community that shows up when it matters.

For more than 40 years, that commitment has driven science, partnerships, and steady progress. Today, it’s carrying us into the next phase of that work: DIRTT—Developing Infrastructure to Reduce Temperature and Turbidity.

Years of research, assessment, and evaluation have brought us to this moment. Designs are advancing, partners are engaged, and meaningful solutions are coming into focus.

Now, the work shifts from understanding the problem to action.

The DIRTT Action Fund is how that action happens. This fund allows us to move decisively—to advance infrastructure when windows open, demonstrate readiness to partners, and turn proven science into real improvements for water quality and fish habitat.

This is how a strong community turns knowledge into action—and action into a healthier, more resilient Henry’s Fork.

Because amazing days on this river aren’t all behind us. We’re building them together.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY RAFFLE PRIZES

GRAND PRIZE: FALL ON THE FORKS – You and a guest will spend six days with experienced guides from three different outfitters: TroutHunter, Big Sky Anglers, and Three Rivers Ranch. Fishing with just one of these outfitters is the experience of a lifetime—just imagine fishing with all three of them. The trip includes lodging at TroutHunter in Island Park, Golden Stone Inn, located in West Yellowstone, MT, and Three Rivers Ranch on Warm River. The winner provides his or her own transportation to the area, gear, and gratuities. Trip dates September 14-19, 2026 and details are firm. Not eligible for exchanges or credits.

SECOND PRIZE: ONE-DAY FISHING WITH HFF FOR TWO – You and a guest will enjoy a one-day fishing trip on the beautiful Henry’s Fork with one of our HFF staff PLUS two nights lodging at the HFF Campus Green Drake Suite. Must be used in 2026. Based on availability.
