Brady Tappana

Brady Tappana is a senior at Brigham Young University–Idaho pursuing a B.S. in Fisheries, Range, and Wildlife Management with an emphasis in fisheries, a minor in biology, and a focus in soil management. His work involves planning and implementing research protocols, conducting field and laboratory studies, and documenting, organizing, and managing project data. He has contributed to SSC and turbidity sampling on tributaries entering Island Park Reservoir, eDNA research on mountain whitefish and macroinvertebrates, a PMD emergence study, reservoir water-quality monitoring, and ADCP discharge measurements throughout the watershed. He has also participated in in-house SSC laboratory analyses evaluating the accuracy and cost-effectiveness of processing samples internally. Originally from Albany, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley, Brady enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, and spending time outdoors.
